Choosing us means giving back to the land.

Our sheep cycle through acres of pasture, and don’t return to the same place for over 40 days. This is the ideal timeline for parasite management and pasture regrowth, and provides consistent fertilization. Grazing naturally stimulates root development. Deeper roots and increased organic matter boost water retention and drought resistance.

❋ Rotational Grazing

We have worked with the Department of Natural Resources, USDA, and Cascadia Conservation District to continually seek improvement opportunities. So far, projects have focused on:

  • Removing noxious weeds

  • Maximizing water efficiency

  • Responsibly thinning timberland to reduce fire fuels.

  • Building wildlife habitat/structures

Gradually, our land is becoming more and more biologically diverse as we replace weeds with permanent perennial pastures, restore and encourage wildlife, and use less machinery overall. The relationship between our land and animals is our responsibility to foster. Our animal’s lives are the top priority and we take pride in the way they are managed.
